WASHIMI American STYLE Kobe Beef

Our other beef offering is a hybrid beef product that cross breeds the Japanese wagyu breed Japan Black and the American Black Angus. Raised in the US state of Oregon, this cross-bred cattle adhere to a strict feeding regimen similar to that of wagyu cattle in Japan. The result is a cut of beef that perfectly balances the lean, red meat flavors associated with Black Angus with the intramuscular marbling and buttery texture that is typical of Japanese wagyu. While the marbling is not as intense as wagyu, it is a unique product that allows the consumer to savor the best of both worlds. Antibiotic and hormone free, the cows are also fed additive-free mixture of natural grains and grass allowing for the cows to yield a product that achieves Non-Hormone Treated Cattle (NHTC) and High Quality Beef (HQB) certification by the USDA.
